Implementation and support

IFS ERP implementation and support (IFS 10 and IFS Cloud)

In most cases IFS is misconfigured, not wrong, and it can be fixed without replacing it. BI Smart is an official IFS partner and works on both fronts: implementing from scratch and fixing rollouts that never stuck.

All services

Who it is for

  • Companies already on IFS, implemented by another consultancy, with departments complaining and reports nobody trusts.
  • Companies evaluating IFS that want to understand the real implementation effort.
  • Teams that need support with a service level, without depending on a single person.

What changes in practice

  • A process that runs inside the ERP, not in a spreadsheet beside it.
  • An approval and cost trail from end to end.
  • An internal team able to operate without calling consultants for everything.
  • The license you already pay for delivering what it promised.

What we do

01

Implementation and re-implementation

Finance, supply chain, manufacturing, projects, service and asset modules, always starting from the client's process.

02

Fixing configuration

Where the setup pushes the operation out of the system, and what changes to bring it back in.

03

Version migration

IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud, taking care not to carry the old habits into the new version.

04

Support

A ticket queue with response times by criticality. We resolve the ticket and keep improving the system along the way.

How we implement

  1. 1

    One week in the operation

On site, with the people who do the work: how it is done today, what already exists in IFS and what gets stuck. You get the list of what to keep, what to redo and the order of entry by module.

  2. 2

    Process before screens

The flow is designed with the departments and only then configured. Every configuration decision is written down, with its reason, so nothing depends on whoever implemented it.

  3. 3

    Data that comes in checked

Records, balances and structures migrated in test loads and checked by the departments before go-live.

  4. 4

    Testing in the real flow

From order to invoice, from purchase to payment, from production order to cost, with the people who will use it. Training happens there, in each person's work.

  5. 5

    Guided go-live

Go-live with the team alongside until the first month-end close.

  6. 6

    Support

A ticket queue with deadlines by severity, and the system improving along the way.
